CT Best of Pizza Featured on "Slice" Web Site

CT residents are proud of their pizza prowess. Our thin crust chewy pies can take on the best of them, and finally the expert on all things pizza has taken notice. Forget about NYC and Chicago, Serious Eats.com's Slice has recently given CT high praise in their post: The United States of Pizza. Give yourself a pat on the back, and high tail it over to the following recommended pie joints. Sure, some may require a road trip for Fairfield County residents, but a good pizza should not be ignored.

Read the Slice article for a complete list of recommended pizza spots in CT, and let us know what you think after you have sampled the goods.

I really like Lou's Pizza in Broad River on Route 123, next to Bonani Indian Restaurant. Lou is a member of the Letizia family and his grandfather was the original Uncle Joe of Uncle Joe's Pizza. Making a good pie is in his blood.

I love Southport Pizza. It has a very thin crust and the Pizza della casa with grilled chicken, roasted garlic and carmellized onions is my fave!
