Father's Day: Caffeine and Carburetors at Zumbachs

Still wondering what to do for Father's Day? This Sunday, June 20, 2010 take Dad to Zumbachs Coffee in New Canaan for Caffeine and Carburetors, a regular pilgrimage for coffee lovers and car enthusiasts.

Last month over 80 majestic (classic Aston Martin and Ferraris) and cult classic (Land Rover) vehicles gathered on New Canaan’s Cherry Street to enjoy a morning cup of coffee and stroll among a sea of shiny bumpers. These gatherings draw owners and enthusiasts alike in an informal and leisurely way to start your Sunday and treat Dad to great coffee and some auto eye candy.

After sipping coffee and trading pleasantries, many owners register and continue the morning with a fun ride around town. For others like me, I usually stroll around the corner to brunch at Rosie's with friends.

Zumbachs is located on Pine Street in New Canaan, CT. Caffeine and Carburetors begins with registration from 8 to 8:30 am, breakfast and exhaust from 8:30 to 9 am and a fun leisurely ride at 9:30 am.

Zumbach's is actually on Pine St. It changes to Cherry when you hit the Post Office.
