Countless readers have requested gluten-free resources that don't taste like cardboard, and we are out there looking. In the meantime, Fairfield County Weekly has done an outstanding job of compiling a list of places serving "gluten-free grub around the state." I couldn't have done it better myself.

Gluten-free news flash! Sugar & Olives in Norwalk is now serving gluten-free breakfast bars and cookies.
We also recently found a great gluten-free baker in Bridgeport, SWEET, who will do custom cakes in addition to selling her goods at places like Amore Bakery in Fairfield, and Port Coffeehouse in Bridgeport.
If you are looking for heartier fare. you can always find great food for restricted diets at Catch A Healthy Habit in Fairfield, Organic Market in Westport, The Stand in Norwalk, Health In A Hurry in Southport, and the new Green Gourmet To Go in Bridgeport.

Joe's Pizza in New Canaan has a total gluten free pie.
John's Best Pizza in Norwalk, and Fat Cat Pie Co. also offer gluten-free pies.
I believe Westfair pizza does as well in Westport
Planet Pizza also offers a gluten-free pizza option. It's good!
joe's america in fairfield has gluten free pasta on their menu now too.
Izzi B's in Norwalk makes great gluten free cupcakes and cakes (they are also free of lots of other alergens) and they taste awesome! I first heard about them through your website. I was surprised when I didn't see them included.
Another great spot for the gluten intolerant is Villarina's Past & Fine Food with multiple CT locations. They have a great selection of Gluten-free entrees for take-out including: Cheese Lasagna, Chicken Marsala, Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Parmigiana, Meatballs and Sauce, & Chicken Francese.
Joes american has gluten free pizza, pasta, Beer, dessert and the rolls for burgers are great
