Gordon Ramsay Screams into Bridgeport This Week

If you hear screaming from the general vicinity of Bridgeport this week, chances are it's Gordon Ramsay inside the kitchen of Blackrock's Cafe Tavolini where he will be camping out filming Fox's Kitchen Nightmares.

Thanks to the local Bridgeport blog, Only in Bridgeport for the hot tip.

Any reports from anyone who has eaten at the pre-makeover Cafe Tavolini?

Celebrated there about a year ago with friends from California...Found it to be charming . The service & food were wonderful. Wonder what happened that Chef Ramsey needed to be called in........

We've eaten there many, many times from happy hour to parties of 6. The food is usually quick and good. Nothing fancy or so great you'd right home about it; service has been hit or miss. I believe his complaint will be the menu is too big, that's why nothing stands out. Hey, in this economy ... Goron Ramsey will pack your tables just for the sheer curiosity factor!

Apparently Tavolini's doors have closed! Not sure this episode will ever air. Rumor was that all of their food was frozen and menu was too big.

food was good ...overpriced...portions not big enough....doors are closed....knock part of block down and bring in Taco Bell. Better Prices!
