I totally agree on Splash- although you can't beat the view-- but I love Lescale in Greenwich- great outdoor bar/patio right on the water... feels like you're on a houseboat. Martels in Fairfield also not a bad bar scene. Napa & Co. in Stamford is a great place to stop in for a pre-dinner cocktail and fantastic selection of cheese for a pre-dinner nibble...

There is a great spot in Greenwich owned by the same people as Polpo. It is called Louie's Italian Restaurant. It is is cozy and perfect for a cocktail.

Lolita Cocina & Tequila Bar is a great spot for drinks. It is in Greenwich and has the most vibrant bar scene I've found in Fairfield County.

Any original ideas on where to grab a pre or post-dinner cocktail? Splash feels a little cougar-esque, The Dressing Room a little Cocoon-esque (although I do like it).
