On Thursday June 28 at 6pm, attend a Sunset Cruise with Mystic Whaler Cruises and the Mystic Cheese Company!  You bring the wine and they’ll provide hors d’oeuvres and a beautiful trip along Connecticut’s coastline.  It is $60 for those 13+ and $30 for kids ages 5-12.   

Walrus + Carpenter is celebrating 5 years in Black Rock!  Join them on Saturday June 30 to commemorate the occasion with WalrusFEST 2018.  In addition to a pie eating contest, a bouncy house, live music, and cornhole, there will be a pet adoption event in conjunction with Little Dog Rescue.  High West will also be on hand with plenty of whisky.   

This summer, Plan b Restaurants is bringing the shore indoors with its Summertime Seafood menu!  Available from June 25 to July 22 at all CT and MA locations, the menu features dishes like  whole belly clams, classic New England style clam chowder, Maine lobster rolls, and a “Best of New England” platter with fried clams, shrimp, and pollock.  

This summer, Millstone Farm is hosting Summer Soiree Dinners with Chef Geoff Lazlo.  The evening begins at 6pm with a cocktail hour featuring a signature cocktail infused with herbs from the farm and passed hors d’oeuvres. A three course dinner will then be served family style while guests dine al fresco (BYOB).  The first takes place on Thursday June 28.   

Thirsty Thursdays are back at Basso Café in Norwalk.  For $35, get 1 app, 1 entree, 1 dessert, and 1/2 a bottle of wine from their selected menu.

The Town Green District invites you to Happy Hour in the Plaza in New Haven! Each Thursday and Friday from 4-7pm, there will be a happy hour at 160 Temple Plaza.  On Thursdays, enjoy tasty burgers and brews from Prime 16.  On Friday, there will be rotating pop-ups from local restaurants. 

Stew Leonard's in Newington is hosting a Glow-in-the-Dark Dance Party on Friday June 29 starting at 6pm.  They’ll have freshly grilled burgers, hot dogs, French fries, brick oven pizza, soft drinks, and an ice cream bar.  Kids will get glowsticks and have the chance to dance with Stews characters.   

On June 25 and 26, the Mediterranean Diet Roundtable comes to Yale University.  The international event showcases food, health, and business opportunities.  The scientific panel will be led by acclaimed nutrition expert Dr. David Katz.   

The Connecticut Taco Festival returns for another year!  On Saturday June 30 from 12-6pm, visit Harrybrooke Park in New Milford to try tacos from across the state.

Bartaco has introduced new summer menu items!  New selections include, Gazpacho,Blistered shishito peppers with hoisin sauce, a Duck quesadilla with caramelized onions, and more. Don’t forget about their “secret taco.”  This time it’s Maitake mushroom and spring asparagus with sweet corn puree.

Barcelona’s West Hartford location just launched a new social hour menu, inspired by the team’s bi-annual trip to Spain.  Join them for special tapas like  Salmon Pintxo, Shrimp Fritters, Jamon Bocadillo, Mushroom Pintxo, and Chorizo Pinxto.
