The Glass House’s Summer Party takes place on June 9, 2018 in New Canaan!  Join them from 12-4pm for a picnic, music, and art! South End is catering with picnic basket lunches for all guests This year guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a new exhibition in the Painting Gallery of work from the Glass House permanent collection, some of which has not before been shown to the public. 

Enjoy a river cruise complete with cigars and whiskey on Wednesday June 6 or Thursday June 7.  The Essex Steam Train will take a group (21+!) on the Becky Thatcher riverboat for an evening of spirits, cigars, and delicious cuisine.  Included in the $85 ticket price ($95 at the door) is the initial train ride to Deep River Landing, the 2-hour cruise, a hand-rolled cigar, 1/2-oz. tastings of featured whiskeys, light fare, and an Essex Steam Train & Riverboat rocks glass.  Light hors d’oeuvres will be provided and additional spirits will be available for purchase.   

On Wednesdays, Wings are 50 cents at the Cook and the Bear!  Then on Thursday, join them for a prix fixe beef rib dinner and a late night happy hour from 10pm-12am.

The first session of the Summer Chef in Training Program for Children ages 7-11 (with a caregiver) is June 7.  It is $20 a session or $50 for 3 sessions.  It takes place at the South Windsor Community Center.

The Courtyard by Marriot in Waterbury presents its 1st Annual Spring Beer Fest on June 8!  There will be food trucks, local distilleries, breweries, and more.  Tickets start at $5.   

The Hops Company has restarted its Raw Bar every Friday from 4-7pm through Labor Day.  It will include oysters, clams, shrimp, and mini lobster rolls provided by Clambakes of CT.

Downtown Stamford's Newest Dining Destination, Bedford Hall, is now open for dinner Monday-Sunday.

The Wilton Farmers’ Market’s Opening day is Wednesday, June 6.  Find them from 12-5pm at the Wilton Historical Society.

Starting Saturday June 9, Stella and Maizies in Hartford will be open on Saturdays.  Join them for the Grand Opening from 11am-3pm.

The Southern New England TacoFest will take place at the Terryville Fairgrounds in Plymouth, CT on Saturday June 9.  There will be over 40 food trucks and vendors, tacos, drinks, bands, a DJ, wrestling, kids activities, and more.   

Brews on Bedford, returns on Saturday, June 9 from 1-4:30pm!  Over 40 beer varieties and 15+ breweries will converge on Latham Park on Bedford Street in Stamford Downtown.  Tickets start at $25.   

On Monday June 4, Amalfi’s Italian Restaurant in Waterbury invites you to partake in unlimited pizza, salad, and soda for $10 per person from 5-8pm.  Proceeds go toward Enlightenment School.

Back by popular demand: Notre Dame's 2nd Annual Bacon and Brew Fest returns to Fairfield Ludlowe on Saturday, June 9, from 12-4pm.  The afternoon includes beer sampling, food trucks, live music, and fun!  This is a 21 and over event.   

The First Annual Beer Garden at Wakeman Town Farm will take place on Saturday June 9 from 12-8pm.  There will be live acoustic music, corn hole, yoga, and lawn games, local vendors, BBQ from Bobby Q’s, beer on tap by New Belgium Brewery, ice cream from Saugatuck Sweets, and a charity Lemonade Stand for Al’s Angels.  https://www.wakemantownfarm.org/  

Starting Saturday, June 9, the Black Rock Farmers Market will be open for the season!  Find them on Saturdays from 9am-1pm in In the Field at 481 Brewster Street in Bridgeport.

Wing Fest returns to Naugatuck, CT on Saturday June 9 from 5-9pm.  Thomas Hookery Brewery is the official sponsor of the event, which features wings from local restaurants and beer tasting.  Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.  www.wingfestct.com

Harrys & Barcelona are teaming up for the 10th Annual Wine & Swine Pig Roast in Fairfield on Sunday June 10 at 4pm.  Special Guest Host Caitlin Doonan will guide you through the wines while the chef prepares a menu with dishes like Duck Crostini, Sheep's Cheese, Hondarribi Beltza, and more.   

Sunday, June 10th, enjoy A Taste of Israel ~ Southern CT Jewish Food Festival at Temple Israel in Westport, featuring Israeli chef Nir Mesika of Timna in NYC. On Sunday June 10, join the Red Bee team for a “Talk, Tour, and Honey Tasting Workshop.”  Walk through the apiary gardens, get n educational talk on honeybees and florals sources, and enjoy a tasting flight of 6 American honeys and food pairings.  The tour runs from 1-2:30pm.   

Ken Tuccio and Letizia's Pizza are teaming up for THE FUN LITTLE SUMMER FESTIVAL AT TOWN LINE CENTER, which will take place from 12-5pm on Sunday June 10 at Town Line Center in Norwalk.  Join them for beer courtesy of The Blind Rhino and, kids’ activities… and DEEP FRIED PIZZA!

Prime Stamford has a newly renovated Cabana Bar and new summer menus.  To celebrate, they are hosting a launch event on Sunday June 10 from 4-6pm.

The Milford Farmer's Market is back on Saturdays from now through October 27 from 9 am-1pm.  Find it at 58 River St in Downtown Milford.
