CA based "make-your-own" pizza venue, Pieology Pizzeria, opens November 17th in Stamford with a FREE PIZZA party. Think pizza, music, games, and fun - on the House.

Every Thursday, Kawa Ni presents a reverse “Happy Endings” happy hour from 9:30-10:30pm.  There will be food and drink specials, as well as sake bombs.

Hartford's Taste of the Nation® for No Kid Hungry will bring together award-winning chefs and mixologists from the region on Monday November 13. The evening will include cocktail and dessert receptions and a multi-course seated dinner prepared by New England’s best chefs.  Space is limited; advance ticket purchases are required.

On Tuesday November 14, the Fairfield location of the Fairfield Greenwich Cheese Company presents “Gruyère Past and Present: A Deep Dive with Glenn Hills of Columbia Cheese.”  Join them for a discussion on the history, craft and commerce of Gruyere, and of course sample it with a nicely paired wine from the region!  It is $50 per person and lasts from 7-9pm. 

Hog River Brewing Co., based in Hartford, will start hosting local chefs in their tap room.  They will begin the winter season on November 14 with Brasato Italian Street Eats.  They will serve a 5-course Italian menu paired with five of our beers, including some first time releases.  Tickets are $55 per person, plus tax and an 18% gratuity. 

Brewport now does trivia night!  Join them on Tuesdays at 7:30pm.

Pearl in Westport has been featuring local artists.  On November 14 from 5-7pm, meet Laura Pflug, an abstract painter and lover of all things colorful and textured.  Her pieces will be displayed for the rest of the year.

Cakebread Cellars is well regarded for its high end Napa Valley Wines.  On Tuesday November 14, Washington Prime SoNo presents a 5 course wine pairing dinner featuring their wines.  Tickets are $95 per person and can be purchased at the restaurant or by calling (203) 857-1314. 

The Fez in Stamford also highlights local artists.  On November 15 from 5-6:30pm, join them for “Artist in Residence Opening Reception: ‘Vision of Magic and Mysticism’ -The Art & Illustrations of  Dee Rapposelli.”  Enjoy complimentary wine, snacks, and art. 

Entrée Nous is a popular restaurant guide that combines descriptions and a complimentary meal.  The 2018 version is now available and the official launch party will be held at Serena & Lily at 35 Elm St. in Westport on Thursday November 16 from 6-8PM.  In addition to purchasing your copy, cocktails and appetizers will be served.  Please RSVP to jthomas@thewriteexecutive.com

Ambler Farm’s farm stand and market may be closed for the season, but you can still purchase their produce at Village Market in Wilton and Peter's in Weston.

The Hops Company in Derby has a new, expanded menu.  In addition to Zuppardi’s Pizza and traditional offerings by SNÄK, THC has added fresh salads, wings and fresh-cut fries.

Shayna B’s By the Sea, a new gluten free and vegan bakery in Old Saybrook, will have its Grand Opening on Saturday, November 18.  Find them at at 247 Main St.

Beginning on Saturday November 18, the Westport Farmers’ Market will move indoors.  Find them in the greenhouses of Gilbertie’s Garden Center on Saturdays from 10 to 2 at 7 Sylvan Lane. The winter season opens with a Food Truck Party! There will be lots of good food with food trucks from Boxcar CantinaSkinny Pines, LLCEGGZ, and The Granola Bar of Westport.

Newbrook Kitchen + Artisan Market invites you to a Paleo dinner on November 18.  The menu includes Scallop, Kale Chi, Rainbow Carrots, Pine Nut Meat Ball, Skate Wing, and Apple Cake.  It costs $65 per person and is BYOB. 

The Chelsea in Fairfield turns 5 on November 18th. Join the party starting at 9:30 pm with live music by Hedtrip and complimentary snacks!

Sunday November 19 marks opening day of the Coventry Farmers Market.  It will take place every Sunday at Coventry High School from 11am-2pm through March 18.
