Stamford Summer Restaurant week returns!  Through September 4, select restaurants will offer special prix fixe lunches and dinners, starting at $10.16 and $15.16 respectively.  Participants include popular eateries like Cask Republic, EOS, The Fez, and many many more!  For menus, prices, and details, visit: 

PARTY LIKE THE SUMMER’S NOT OVER!!!!  Match Restaurant is switching up its regular menu for one night only and teaming up with Norm & Jimmy Bloom from Copps Island Oysters & Lobsters to bring you seafood fresh seafood from Long Island Sound!  Special drinks alongside a full beer and cocktail menu. Fleishers Craft Butchery in Westport will have another installation of Beef Butchery 101 on Tuesday August 30 at 7pm.  The night covers Craft Butchery philosophies on sourcing and sustainability, butchering knife skills, basic animal anatomy, demonstrations by a Craft Butchery master butcher, and tasting of samples. 

Get your tickets now for a screening of “At The Fork” on September 8 at 7:30.  Filmmaker John Papola, and his wife Lisa provide unbiased look at how farm animals are raised for our consumption.  Tickets are $11 each, with 5% of the proceeds going to the Westport Farmers' Market.  73 tickets must be reserved by September 1 for the film to be shown.  The screening will take place at Showcase Cinemas at Bullard Square in Fairfield. 

The Weekend Kitchen in Essex invites you to learn All About Bouillabaisse on Tuesday August 30.  Chef Jennifer Magrey will guide you through a Mixed organic Four Root Farm greens with a classic French tarragon vinaigrette, French Bread with Rouille, Bouillabaisse, and Plum Galette.  It costs $75 per person and runs from 6:30-10pm.  Feel free to BYOB.  

The Elm Shakespeare Company Gala and Auction takes place September 1 from 5-7:30pm.  Participating restaurants include Caseus, Café Bravo, Le Petit Gourmet, Kitchen at EleMar, Oak Haven Table & Bar, P&M Orange Street Grill, and Temple Grill.  There are specialty desserts and cocktails as well.  Tickets start at $75 and donations are accepted as well.  

The 9th annual Blues, Views & BBQ Festival will be held in Westport CT on September 3 and 4 at the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts and the grounds of the Westport Library.  The weekend includes bouncy amusements and kids' activities, demos, a food court, an adult beverage showcase, a BBQ marketplace, bull riding, contests, giveaways, and more!  CTbites will host some of the area's top chefs in our Chef Demo Tent as they grill some of their favorite dishes and offer up samples for attendees of the festival. View the line-up here.

Odyssey - A Greek Festival comes to Orange from September 2-5.  It features authentic Greek cuisine, a marketplace, cooking demos, kids’ activities, and more.  Admission is free.

From September 18- October 31, Redding Roadhouse will be their 31st annual Oktoberfest. There will be authentic German cuisine, 1 liter bier steins, and a live OOmpah band from 4-8pm every Sunday.
