Community Table & Kent Falls Brewing Co.
 are teaming up for a special evening of food and beer on July 26. Executive Chef Marcell Davidsen has collaborated with Barry and Derek at Kent Falls Brewing Co. on a summer-inspired menu fit for Connecticut locavore beer lovers. 

"We are very excited to host this event, and share some great beers and great food. And there might be a few surprises too," said Marcell Davidsen.

We have a sneak peek of the menu, which at last count is 7 courses and 6 beers, and as many reasons to get excited for this evening at Community Table. Tickets are $75 per person. Reservations are available on OpenTable.com.

Sourdough Bread
Toasted hay butter

Smoked Trout & Squash Blossom

Hazelnut crème 

Beer: Lade Øl 4.8 % Abv. 
A farmhouse ale brewed with smoked hay. This beer takes on delicate notes of sweet grass, vanilla and spice notes from the hay complementing our house yeast culture.  

Day Boat Scallops

Kohlrabi, lemon granita and almonds

Red Snapper Ceviche

Radish & spicy peppers

Beer: Lemon & Coconut Gose 4.6% Abv. 

Dry, lemony acidity rounded out by the coconut, finishes with a soft saltiness.

Bella Farm Chicken

Toasted barley & beans

Beer: Solstice 4.8% Abv. 

Farmhouse ale dry hopped with Comet and Apollo for a classic dank hop profile.

Smoked Pork
Cauliflower, pickled blue berries and soft egg

Beer: Blackberry Vs. Blueberry 5.0 % Abv. 
American wild ale brewed with 1200 lb of CT grown blueberries and 300 lb of blackberries.  Sour, balanced with big berry aroma and finish around faint funkiness.

S'mores
Toasted Marshmallow ice cream & pine

Beer: Coffee Maker 5.6 % Abv
Coffee Brett IPA.  Brett IPA blended with cold brewed coffee from Irving Farm in Millerton, NY.  Not what you would expect.  Big coffee aroma, full of citrus with a balanced sweetness reminiscent of a more traditional pale ale.

Lemon Mellise Sorbet
Milk cloud & pickled celery

Beer: Sparkle Boots 7 % Abv
Mango Passionfruit IPA – tropical fruit and hops going round and round your palate.
