Tickets are on sale for the Harvest Fest at Wakeman Town Farm in Westport. On Saturday September 12, local chefs unite to serve up dishes that use ingredients from nearby farms. Proceeds go to benefit the local farm. There will be a silent auction as well.
The Wine & Spirit Company, located in Milford, presents “Wine School 101” on Thursday September 3. Guests can learn wine basics and then enjoy a potluck dinner with their classmates. The class is recurring, and each week it will focus on a new region. The class is FREE with a donation of dog or cat food to benefit Milford Animal Control.
