Westport's Popular Eatery, The Granola Bar, Opening in Greenwich

Stephanie Webster

The Granola Bar, the popular Westport-based restaurant known for their exceptional coffee program, creative smoothies, and their healthy approach to traditional comfort food, is set to open a second location in Greenwich in early 2016. Granola Bar owners, Julie Levitt and Dana Noorily, are excited to bring their creative and locally sourced breakfast and lunch options to Greenwich residents and businesses at 41 Greenwich Avenue. The new 2700-square-foot restaurant will offer extensive seating and a large take-out section for people on the go.

In conjunction with this expansion, The Granola Bar will debut a new seasonal menu on November 11 at the Westport location.

Don't panic...the Granola Bar cult classics such as the avocado toast, house-cured salmon, oatmeal bowls, cleverly named sandwiches, and freshly made salads will remain, but their new Director of Operations, Chef Neil Rohricht, has some new tricks up his sleeve. We greatly enjoyed the new Butternut Squash Lasagna, a wonderful vegetarian dish made with cashew nut "ricotta;" as well as the Harvest Bowl with wild rice, quinoa, apples, cranberries, feta, cashews, walnuts and citrus vinaigrette.

Guests should expect the same well styled comfortable modern decor in The Granola Bar's Greenwich location.

Corporate and private party catering will also be available in the Greenwich location, as well as a daily coffee and baked goods delivery service to local businesses.

The Granola Bar will be open seven days a week, Mondays through Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
