This weekend, Fountainhead/Fat Cat Pie Co. in Norwalk will offer complimentary tastings of wine from  the Southern Rhône. 

Fairway Market has its own house-baked Beer Bread!  It’s made with local Blue Point Brewing Co. Hoptical Illusion IPA and is a combination of wheat, rye and sourdough.  It has a strong essence and smell of hops and can be included in any type of meal of the day!  Stop by to pick yours up- great for St. Patty’s!

Artisan Restaurant has a brand new prix fixe lunch menu.  On weekdays, enjoy an appetizer, entrée, and coffee or tea for just $19.  See the menu here. 

The luck ‘o the Irish is giving you even more delicious choices to enjoy at Rodizio Brazilian Steakhouse in Stamford. They are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with some traditional and not-so-traditional additions to the menu: Corned Beef and Cabbage, Parsley Potatoes, Shamrock Brazilian Limeade, Leprechaun Limeade, Green Beer, Shamrock Coffees, Shamrock Cremes.  Through the 17th.

Barcelona Greenwich’s “Passport Through Spain series” continues with Monstant and Priorat!  Each one hour class in the series (there are four total) will focus on a particular Spanish region, history behind the wines and the food that best accompanies them prepared by Chef Michael Lucente.  Wine Steward Jose Valverde will guide you along the way, with tips and tricks for successfully pairing your wines with local food. 7pm. 

Wednesday March 19th is also “Rare Beer Night” at Half Full Brewery in Stamford.  Rare Beer Night is a recurring series that will take place on the third Wednesday of each month. The evening will feature 3-5 test batches and attendees will receive full pints of each beer. Tasty food pairings will also be provided.

“All Road Lead to Pasta” on Thursday March 20.  Join L’escale in Greenwich for the launch of Debra Jean Longobardi's new book... soon to be a film! Cocktails, drinks, music, and wines from Val's in Greenwich will make it a night to remember.  6:30-9:30.  Suggested donation of $50. Get your tickets here.

The 4B Festival (Beer! Bourbon! BBQ! Bacon) goes down in New Haven on Saturday March 22!  Try bourbon and craft beer, eat lots BBQ, listen to live music, and try endless versions of bacon.  The VIP experience will get youearly event access, a souvenir glass, a lanyard, shirt, apron, coaster, bottle   opener, special reserve tastings, and reserved seating.  Tickets are currently sold out, but stay tuned to for information.
