Starting on Monday November 10, Dinosaur BBQ of Stamford offers you the chance to “Drive-In and Pig Out.”  During regular restaurant hours, you can put in a request for take out and have the Dino staff bring your food right to your vehicle.  

Join Craft 260 on Tuesday November 11 for a DC Brau Tap Takeover.  Not only will there be 5 beers from the brewery… it’s the launch Wings of Armageddon in CT!  The 99 point Imperial IPA is available in limited quantities only and this its first time outside of DC.  

Also on Tuesday, Bar Sugo of Norwalk will host a game dinner from 6-9pm.  It includes rabbit, pheasant, deer, quail, duck, and boar!  $85 per person, plus tax and gratuity.  

On Wednesday November 12, Cask Republic of Stamford will host a Home Brew Competition.  Call 203-348-2275 to reserve your spot in the event.  Judging starts at 3pm and the party starts at 5pm.  Please not submissions must be dropped off by Monday November 10.

Greenwich Restaurant Week takes place from November 12-19.  Throughout the week, 35 Greenwich restaurants will be offering dining specials. There will also be special events taking place at participating restaurants throughout the week including wine tastings, corporate dinners, cocktail parties and menu tastings.

It’s Rare Beer Night at Half Full Brewery in Stamford on Wednesday November 12.  Half full will pair specialty, limited production beers with food from local vendors.  7-9pm.  $30 per person.  Buy tickets here.

Jones Family Farm and Winery invites you to a Tuscan Fall Supper on Wednesday November 12.  The Tuscan-inspired menu features Lentil & Mushroom Soup, Roast Pork with Seasonal Farm Vegetables, and Gelato.  It will include wine pairings as well.  6:30-8:30pm, $65 per person. 

Thursday November 13, Stew Leonard’s Wine invites you to “Lafite Around the World.”  They’ll feature worldwide collaborations of iconic Bordeaux wine producer Domaine Barons de Rothschild.  The wines range from Chile to Argentina to France.  This FREE tasting goes from 6:30-8:30. 

Norwalk’s Sugar & Olives will have “Farms and a Market” on Fridays from 3-7pm through February.  During that time, the store will transform into an indoor version of a farmers market, featuring local foods and gifts.  (This special event will not take place after Thanksgiving and Christmas.)

Onyx Moonshine comes to Bristol, CT on Tuesday November 11.  Barley Vine will hold a Moonshine dinner starting at 6pm.  $65 per person.   http://www.barleyvinect.com/ 

On Saturday November 15, Hartford’s Beer and Wine Makers Warehouse will host an All Grain Brewing Class from 10am-12pm. It costs $20 per person and space is limited.  To reserve a spot please email them at info@bwmwct.com

The Whelk in Westport has just launched a new happy hour menu. "Oyster Happy Hour" is now being served 4:30 to 6pm Tuesday - Friday featuring a few back to the clam shack classics such as Steamed Clams, Blackened Shrimp as well as Norm Bloom's Copps Island oysters for $1 each. Cans of beer will be a very reasonable $3 and pitchers of their signature cocktails are available.
