Monday October 20, Craft 260 in Fairfield teams up with Stone Brewing Co. for the 4th time.  The beer dinner is $90 per person, tax and gratuity included.  Limited seating.  

Also on Monday, Napa and Co continues its Fall Wine Series with the “Spanish Inquisition.” The exceptionally deep wines of Rioja will be the centerpiece of the evening.  Enjoy 6 wines and 3 small plates.  $50pp (plus tax and gratuity).

The Westport location of Fjord Fisheries (1835 Post Road East) will be having two "Sushi Sampling Days" on Wednesday October 22 and Thursday 23.  Anyone who stops into the store from 11:30 on can enjoy an array of delicious rolls available to taste.  All will be expertly rolled by their Sushi Masters, David and Ken.

Celebrate The Spread’s 2nd Anniversary on Thursday October 23.  From 5-7pm, they’ll serve special hors d’oeuvres and cocktails.

Also on Thursday October 23, you can participate in a "Foragers Feast" to benefit the Garden Education Center in Greenwich.  The farm dinner party will be hosted and prepared by Chef Geoff Lazlo.  It will include purveyors such as Mike's Organic, Greenwich Cheese Shop, and Green and Tonic.

Love beer?  Love books?  Local author Steven Speeg and his partner Daniel Bellon will be at Relic Brewing in Plainville to sign copies of their book Cool Beer Labels.  While there, try samples and get your growlers filled.  It all takes place on Thursday October 23.  

Bistro Basque of Milford presents a night of South American wines and food.  Chef David will create a custom menu that pairs with bottles from famous wine regions including Mendoza, Patagonia, Maipo Valley, and beyond.  6:30-9pm.  $65 per person.  

Friday October 24, The Fairfield Cheese Company hosts another installation of their fall classes- a “Swiss Dinner.”  The five course meal is inspired by the alpine slopes with wines to match. They’ll also have a guest, Johnathan Richardson, who works for Columbia cheese. $100 per person.

Sour Beers are coming to Two Roads Brewery on October 25!  They’ll release two lambic style beers and a second commemorative beer in an event called “Sourcopia”. Patrons can buy a maximum of two of each style for a total of six bottles.   During release, the new sour beers will be on draft (limited supply available) food trucks will be on hand. 

The Black Rock Farmers Market closes for the season on Saturday October 25.  They’ll go out with a bang though… with a “Harvest Hootenanny!”  From  1-5pm, enjoy local food, local breweries, and live music.  Following the market, there will be a pig roast (sponsored by Walrus + Carpenter), a beer tasting for charity, a bonfire, haunted house, square dancing, and more!

Martha Stewart is coming to Stew Leonard’s in Norwalk on Saturday October 25.  She’ll be signing copies of her book One Pot: 120+ Easy Meals from Your Skillet, Slow Cooker, Stockpot, and More from 12-2pm.
