Red Bee Honey - Friday, July 19 @ 7pm

Sommelier is no longer a term reserved only for wine! Marina Marchese is an author, honey sommelier and beekeeper who is offering a unique addition to our usual pairing class -- several varieties of Red Bee honey perfectly paired with our selection of wines and cheeses. To top it off, she will be talking about her book, The Honey Connoisseur and Honeybee: Lessons from an Accidental Beekeeper. Marina will demonstrate how single varietal honeys vastly differ in color, aroma, texture and flavor. Guests will experience the multi-sensory art of tasting and pairing a selection of Red Bee honeys from Marina’s book. The class includes small bites and sparkling wine to start, a guided tasting of the wine, cheese and honey pairings, something sweet to finish and a special gift for you to take home.
