Looking for a great Thanksgiving meal, but don't want to cook? Artisan Restaurant in the Delamar Southport hotel is offering guests a three-course pre fixe farm to table menu. Their traditional Thanksgiving feast will include appetizers, entrees and desserts using the freshest produce selections and seasonal ingredients from local Connecticut farms.
A honey glazed turkey with cranberry, apple, and chestnut stuffing finished in an orange ginger cranberry sauce with sheery wine au jus proceeds the guests appetizer selection accompanied by an assortment of "family style" sides: brussels sprouts, baked yams "au gratin," whipped potatoes, bean casserole, cheddar and chive biscuits. For guests who prefer a turkey-free Thanksgiving, Artisan's menu has other offerings including grilled atlantic salmon or kabocha squash ravioli and wilted spinach in a ginger-brown butter sauce.
Upon dessert, guests can choose from items such as: eggnog creme brulee, pear and apple cobbler, or a vanilla, nutella, and maple syrup waffle cookie sundae.
